Softball Players to Watch

McKenna Ingram – Bristow

Last season, she took Bristow to the state tournament, which was its first in over fifteen years. She earned district honors as Co-Pitcher of the Year. Looking to have another great season this year. 

Grace Hulsey – Chandler

Over her first two seasons as a varsity pitcher, Hulsey compiled over 280 strikeouts. She also had a strong bat at the plate. She should have another solid year as a junior this season.

Bailey Layman – Cleveland

Bailey is an outstanding athlete and a strong leader on the team. Her speed makes her a constant threat. 

Kamryn James – Cushing

She has a great work ethic on and off the field. She is getting some attention from several colleges. Kamryn is also a leader on the team and is looking to have a strong year.

Malloree Byford – Davenport

She is a catcher who commands the game and ensures that her team is headed in the right direction at all times. Byford is also a leader among her teammates. 

Ashley Burdick – Depew

A team leader on and off the field, Burdick is the team’s top pitcher and has been a solid hitter in the lineup. She has been working hard to bounce back from an injury she suffered last season. 

Icle Brewer – Meeker

Icle has been a four year starter for the Lady Bulldogs. She is a hard worker and a team leader. 

Bailey Millburn – Prue

She is a senior who has an amazing set of skills. She will be a key player at first base this season.

Kenlee Parrick – Stroud

Kenlee is a great kid and an excellent softball player. Expectations are high for her this season. 

Football Unsung Heroes

Payton Brown – Bristow

Payton is undersized but makes up for it with his lack of speed. He worked his way up to starting at wide receiver. Great kid and athlete. 

Dalton Fowble – Chandler

A great kid that is a hard worker and an intelligent student athlete. He plays on both sides of the ball and will play anywhere needed to help the team be successful. 

Jalen Aguilar – Cleveland

Aguilar is one of those kids that every coach enjoys having on their team. Hard worker and a great attitude. 

Johnny Butler – Meeker

Johnny is a hard working kid that is a very high energy guy. He is a guy that will excel at any position he plays. 

Carson Holsapple – Prague

Always putting in extra time during the offseason and summer in order to better himself. He is never happy with just the work that is given.

Amariyae Morris – Stroud

Amariyae is a great kid who has a great work ethic. He competes everyday to get better as an athlete. He  is a selfless player who always puts the team first.

Dakota Long – Wellston

He is a true team player who won’t let up until there are nothing but zeroes left on the clock.He is a fixture in the weight room whose effort is hard to match and the kind of player who will not hesitate to do whatever his team needs. 

Softball Unsung Heroes

Molly Gill – Bristow

Molly is an outstanding kid and a great teammate. She goes above and beyond to help her team.

Hannah Edmonds – Chandler

A tough kid, Edmonds has worked hard and is a valuable member of the team.

Skyler Wade – Cleveland

A great person on and off the field, Wade is looking to make an impact this season. 

Madison Alexander – Cushing

She has worked hard in the offseason and should see more time this season.

Faith Campbell – Davenport

A competitive person, Campbell will do whatever it takes to help the team win. 

Morgan Steele – Depew

Steele is one of those players that makes an impact on the team but it does not always show up in the stats. 

Madison Williams – Stroud

Madison always has a great attitude and goes out of her way to help her teammates.

Football Underclassmen to Watch

Darien Dansby – Bristow

A standout athlete in junior high, Dansby is now a freshman and will be looking to make an impact this season.

Casmen Hill – Chandler

Casmen has great straight away speed, he is a scoring threat any time he touches the ball. He gets after it in the weight room, which showed last year as he was a very hard running back to get down. 

Scott Kennedy – Cleveland

Kennedy is a great kid that has worked hard to get where he is.

Chance Acord – Davenport

Chance is a great teammate and is always willing to do whatever to help his team be successful.

Bobby Brooks – Meeker

Bobby is a very athletic player and a physical presence at defensive end. He is also explosive off the ball with a large wingspan. Will be a problem for opponents.

Trevor Mcguiness – Prague

Last season was cut short due to an injury in week two. Trevor looks to bounce back this season and make an impact on the field. 

Jordan Triplett – Prue

Jordan is a freshman with a ton of athletic ability. He looks to increase his impact this season.

Dylan Baker – Stroud

Dylan is expected to compete for the starting quarterback and safety positions. He is a great kid who is tough as nails. Dylan leads by example, he is the first to arrive and last to leave.

Wesley Shaffer – Wellston

He’s a coachable player who gives everything on every rep. He plays with a lack of fear and reckless abandon that would make any coach smile. Combine that with his natural athletic ability and you cannot  help but expect him to contribute and continue to improve. 

Logan Britton – Yale

Logan has the potential to be a really great player. Looked solid during the spring and look for that to transfer to the regular season.

Softball Underclassmen to Watch

Ava Yocham – Bristow

Ava is a competitor at heart and will always give it her all.

Keelie Treat – Chandler

Whether it is the regular season or the off season, Treat is working hard to get better.

Rielly Walker – Cleveland

Walker is a great kid that looks to be a solid player for the Lady Tigers for the next few years. 

Hadlee Massengale – Davenport

Working hard to see more playing time this season, Massengale is an asset to the team. 

Sam Peeler – Depew

Peeler is an all around great kid that is always there for her teammates and friends.

Makenna Hall – Stroud

She will be an impact player on the field. She has worked hard to get where she is.
