The “talk of the tailgate” in Stillwater is all about Gundy. Gage Gundy.
The senior quarterback has more than lived up to expectations and is having an excellent senior season.
Being part of the varsity football team at Stillwater High School, was certainly the destiny Gage knew he would fulfill and spending time with his teammates and going to battle of Friday nights is something the QB1 truly enjoys.
“I love how we are all close together and everyone bonds,” Gundy said. “We hang out a lot as a group and spend every weekend together which is special to me.”
As a student-athlete at Stillwater High School, Gundy said what makes it such a great place to be a student are the people and faculty who come to work every day.
“I enjoy how all the students and teachers are close and have good bonds,” said Gundy.
On the field, Gundy said he’s made some great memories with his teammates, but one does stand out.
“My favorite memory as a player is sneaking into our stadium at 1am messing around throwing a football the night before playing week zero against Greenwood, Arkansas,” said Gundy.
Away from school and sports, Gundy said he enjoys hunting and spending time with his friends.
