Frontier’s Noah Farmer – Athlete Spotlight – Presented By Land and Cattle Steak House 7 C

Noah Farmer, an underclassman at Frontier High, and catcher for the Mustangs varsity baseball team, knows that going the extra mile in practice and workouts will pay off on game days.

“Dedication, hardworking, and humble,” Farmer said. “That’s how I would describe a good teammate.”

Farmer has been following his own advice and he works to be a good teammate and support the Mustangs both on and off the field. Farmer has a true love of the game and first started playing baseball when he was old enough to hold a bat. Although he likes getting opportunities at the plate, over the years Farmer has found his ideal role as a catcher, with a great eye on defense.

“I started playing baseball when I was three years old,” Farmer said. “My favorite aspect of the game is staying late at practice with the upperclassmen and catching. I love catching.”

This season Farmer has been working to improve all aspects of his game and is having fun doing so.

“My goal for baseball this year is to get faster and hit my first homerun,” Farmer said.

Farmer enjoys spending time with his teammates and helping the Mustangs get ready for regionals, and it’s an opportunity he’s excited for.

Farmer appreciates all of the efforts his teammates have been putting forth as well and looks to them for further inspiration.

“I consider my teammate Connor to be a role model,” Farmer said. “Because he is hardworking and he’s always pushing the team to get better.”

Off the field Farmer has the same determination to succeed and brings it to the classroom.

“Academically I am going to a 4.0 GPA,” Farmer said.

After high school Farmer wants to earn a spot on a collegiate baseball team and continue his playing career at the next level. As for his education, Farmer said he wants to study engineering in college.
