Coach: Nathan Reed
21-22 Record: 20-7
Head coach Nathan Reed is excited to see what he has returning to the court this season. “We have a good group coming back this year with big goals. Falling short of where we wanted to be last year was disappointing, but that is what will drive us to be better this season. Our team is ready to make some noise and represent Mannford,” said coach Reed.
Isabella Pehrson (6-0, Jr.) can play multiple positions for the Lady Pirates including guard and forward. “Bella is a player that is always striving to become better and doing whatever it takes for our team to win. She can score, play lock down defense, and dish out assists with the best of them. Bella is continuing to get better as well, improving her range and getting stronger over the offseason,” said coach Reed.
Kylie Hewitt (5-10, Sr.) will start at forward, but she can play all five positions according to coach Reed. “Kylie is our steady force. She can play all five positions on the floor and is not afraid of doing the dirty work. When she is going at a high level, our team matches that level,” said coach Reed.
One underclassman everyone is excited to see this season is Bentli Cook (5-9, So.). The sophomore can play guard or forward and has the athleticism to be a force this season. Caitlyn Burk (5-7, Sr.) is a three-year starter and the teams best three-point shooter.
Other players to watch include Brylee Ballard (5-6, Sr.), Shakota Graywolfe (6-0, Sr.), Kendall Young (5-7, Sr.), Adalynn Tierney (5-7, Jr.), Josie Lewis (6-0, Jr.), Addie Hemphill (5-5, Jr.), McKayla Livingston (5-7, Jr.), Alexis Rice (5-8, So.), Charleigh Hewitt (5-9, So.), Anna Dostal (5-9, So.), and Brooklyn Ballard (5-8, So.).
