VYPE: What grade are you in and what sports do you play?
Electra: I am a sophomore at Ponca City High School and I play tennis.
VYPE: What has it taken to be successful in your sports?
Electra: It takes lots of practice to be successful in my sport. I try to keep a positive attitude and never look at things negatively.
VYPE: Which teammate do you enjoy working against the most with in practice?
Electra: I enjoy when I get to practice against Kylie Flowers. She is an amazing player and pushes me to get better.
VYPE: Who is the least appreciated player on your team?
Electra: I think the least appreciated on the team is our coach. I know we all appreciate her but she has gone above and beyond making sure we are united as a team.
VYPE: Why do you enjoy playing your sport?
Electra: I enjoy playing tennis because it gives me something to work for and I get to have fun with my teammates.
VYPE: Who are some of your biggest influences or role models?
Electra: My biggest role model is my mom. She is a hard worker and is always determined to get the task at hand done.
VYPE: Who is your favorite person you follow on social media?
Electra: My favorite person I follow on social media is Nicole Laeno. She has a very positive mindset.
VYPE: What does it mean to you to represent your school and community when you play?
Electra: Representing my school and community when I play is an honor because some kids don’t get the opportunity.
VYPE: What teacher has had the biggest impact on your life?
Electra: The teacher that has had the most impact on my life would be my freshman Wildcat Way/Oklahoma History teacher. He always has good advice and was super supportive during the school year.
