VYPE: Why are you passionate about your sport?
Samantha: I am passionate about my sport because it is a getaway from all the other things going on in my life.
VYPE: What has your sport taught you that you use in your daily life?
Samantha: Basketball has taught me how to work with other people.
VYPE: What is your favorite thing about being on a team?
Samantha: My favorite part about being on a team is the bonds I make with my teammates.
VYPE: What is your favorite part about representing your high school as an athlete?
Samantha: My favorite part about representing Blackwell as an athlete is the influence, I have been a senior.
VYPE: What is your all-time favorite meal?
Samantha: My all-time favorite meal is chicken alfredo with garlic bread.
VYPE: What is the best advice that anyone has given you?
Samantha: The best advice I have ever been told is just yourself.
VYPE: Are you involved in any other activities at school?
Samantha: I am a member of student council, pep-club, FCCLA, FCA, bank board, I am a football manager and plan to manage baseball in the spring.
VYPE: When and how did you first get into playing your sport?
Samantha: I first got into playing basketball when I was in 3rd grade. My mom signed me up to play with my little sister.
VYPE: What has been your favorite memory of playing?
Samantha: My favorite memory from playing basketball was my sophomore year playing in Tonkawa, with 5 seconds left on the clock senior Emily Grove shoots the half-court shot and makes it in.
