Hi, what are you looking for?

Blackwell

Q & A with Blackwell’s Kaleah Free Presented by Stillwater Medical Clinic of Blackwell

VYPE: When and how did you first get into playing your sport?

Kaleah: In 2013, my mom signed me up for pee-wee cheer. We cheered for youth football games. I fell in love and I have been doing it since.

VYPE: Why are you passionate about your sport?

Kaleah: I am passionate about cheer because it keeps me involved with all school sports.

VYPE: What has been your favorite memory of playing?

Kaleah: My favorite memory is cheering at Dual State and State for our wrestling team last year. I cheered harder than I ever have and I loved being on the mats with them and watching them win.

VYPE: Who inspires you?

Kaleah: My mom inspires me the most because she does so much but no matter what she is always there for me and my sisters, cheering us on.

VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade?

Kaleah: Candi Holt from middle school, Mrs. Holt, was like a friend to me all through middle school. I could talk to her about anything and everything. I look up to her so much. She is retired now and it makes me sad that no other students will get to know her.

VYPE: What is your all-time favorite meal?

Kaleah: My all time favorite meal is made by my mom, it is chicken breast stuffed with cream cheese and jalapeños wrapped in bacon.

VYPE: You can pick any place for a summer vacation, where do you go and who do you take with you?

Kaleah: Cozumel, Mexico and I would take my mom, dad, and two younger sisters. We are planning to take a trip after I graduate and I’m really hoping this is where we will go.

VYPE: Are you involved in any other activities?

Kaleah: I am an active member of Student Council, Pep Club, and I am a manager for my school’s football team. I also assist my mom with the children’s bible study class at church.

VYPE: Here is your chance to give a shoutout or say thank you to anyone you wish.

Kaleah: I want to say thank you to my entire family for always believing in me and pushing me to achieve my dreams.
