Cleveland’s Bella Logsdon – Athlete Spotlight Presented by Indian Electric Cooperative, Inc

“In soccer, we strive to be the best of our ability. Seeing the joy on people’s faces when we grow as a team is something I look forward to each day.”

This comes from Bella Logsdon who is a senior at Cleveland High School and is fully dedicated to the sport of soccer. She has played since she was four, or for as long as she can remember. You can typically find her on the field playing center back or on defense. She is a member of the CHS Band, National Honor Socierty, yearbook, p7, FCA, Jazz band, and is a class officer at Cleveland High – a well-rounded, great student athlete.  The best part about her soccer career is being able to share things in common with those around her and using their differences to help benefit each other.

Her biggest influencers are her parents.

“They have taught me to seize every opportunity, to show God’s love and that hard work and integrity can get you far in life, said Bella. Her band instructor, Mr. Johnson, has had her as a student since the 6th grade. Mr. Johnson has pushed her to be the best she can be and to not give up when things get difficult. He has inspired her to be better and taught her a thing or two about playing the drums along the way.

What has made her most successful in soccer is her hard work, dedication, perseverance, and above all, trusting God. This is displayed in one of her favorite bible verses.

“Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance.”

(James 1:2-3)
