Corridor Area Basketball Players to Watch – Presented by Stillwater Family Care

BOYS BASKETBALL

Tristin Glisson – Bristow

Tristin is a hard worker and good teammate that can always be counted on to show up and put in the work. He has worked really hard since being a rotator in seventh grade to being a contributor this year. He has a great attitude and is a positive leader on the team

Dylan Baker – Cleveland

Dylan is the leader of the team. He leads the team on and off the court. He has worked hard in the offseason and looks to have a big year.

Joseph Bray – Drumright

Bray averaged 26 points per game as a sophomore. He is a great teammate and leader. He works with teammates to help them get better, and organizes team meetings and extra practices.

Jaustin Miles – Kellyville

He is a long wing that makes all of the effort plays. He is always going up tempo and is ready to lead in rebounds and steals. He should score a lot of points as well. He never takes a play off and is always making tough plays. He is tough to prepare for.

Abel Ochoa – Olive

Abel is a leader and his effort and commitment is evident. He holds his teammates to high standards and is always there to help and encourage them.

Cameron Hightower – Prague

Big body post that can play face up or back to the basket. Hightower can also step out and stretch the defense.

GIRLS BASKETBALL

Addi Alexander – Bristow

Addi has the ability to create and score just about any time she wants. She can score going to the basket with multiple finishes, has a solid mid range game, and is a pure shooter with good range from deep. Defensively, Addi is really savvy with good instincts which constantly disrupts the other teams offense.

Lillian Thatcher – Depew

She does all the dirty work for the team. She is always getting rebounds and hustling after loose balls. She can play any postion asked to do so. Doesn’t bother her if she isn’t leading scorer in games.

Kylie Hewitt – Mannford

Kylie is the steady force of her team. She can play all five positions on the floor and is not afraid of doing the dirty work. When she is going at a high level, her team matches that level.

UNDERCLASSMEN TO WATCH BOYS BASKETBALL

Tayton Jackson – Bristow

Tayton is a good shooter and ball handler who understands the game and has a lot of potential. He played really well this summer and is a possible starter for this coming season.

Austin McEntire – Drumright

McEntire moved into the district from the Oklahoma City area and he has good court vision and defense. He will look to make an immediate impact on the team.

Easton Nance – Kellyville

He is a sophomore that saw some action as a freshman. Great decision maker and is another coach on the floor. He hit big shots in games last year as a freshman and is ready to take a step forward.

Austin Montgomery – Olive

Austin is a solid shooter and has a huge upside. Has the ability to heat up and should have a big impact on the team this year.

Jaxon Smith – Prague

Smith is a six-foot-five sophomore with a big body that is coming into his own. Plays very hard and with a high motor.

GIRLS BASKETBALL

Bentlie Cook – Mannford

Bentlie has matured since last year both on and off of the court. The athleticism and ability is exactly what you want in a player. She will play a vital role in Mannford’s success this season.
