OFFENSE

The 2020 season was a good one for the Bulldogs, but they fell a little short of the goal of winning a championship. But they enter this season with many returning starters and they are ready to make another run at it. Two players ready to be impact players are tight end Casey Harelson (6-7, 205, Sr.) and wide receiver Colton VanFossen (5-7, 145, Jr.). Last season, Harelson registered 15 catches for 883 yards and 15 touchdowns, while VanFossen ended up with 551 receiving yards on 25 catches and five touchdowns. Harelson was once again named to the VYPE Top 100. Manning the front line and keeping the quarterback protected will be linemen Houston Byford (6-3, 220, Sr.) and Cruz Hilliam (6-0, 230, Sr.).

DEFENSE

The Bulldog defense will look to be problematic for opposing offenses this season. They bring back eight starters from last year’s squad that will bring back experience. Parker Mitchell (5-11, 220, Sr.) had seventy-one tackles last season and will be spending time at linebacker and defensive back this season. At defensive tackle will be Peyton Gaylord (5-10, 220, So.), who registered sixty-five tackles a year ago. Patrolling the secondary will be defensive back Jace Phillips (6-0, 160, Sr.). Other impact players this season will be Addy Harelson (6-7, 210, Sr.) and Cole Yancy (6-1, 200, Sr.).
