Yale Bulldogs
Coach: STEVEN SULLIVAN
OFFENSE
In his first season at Yale High School, head coach Steven Sullivan believes his team has a chance to surprise a few teams this season. His coaching staff consists of Chris Green, Shon Villars, Barry Richards and Jim Pothorst. Seven starters return to the offensive side of the ball including Kail Williams (Sr.) at quarterback. Nick Harris (Sr.) returns at fullback where his strength and power allow him to run through would-be tacklers. Desean Richie (Sr.) will see time at running back and tight end while Owen Armstrong (Sr.) will play wide receiver. Also look for Dale Coffman (Jr.) at running back with Kamren Coffman (Sr.) starting at center.
DEFENSE
Harris remains at linebacker where his play can set the tone for the Bulldog defense. Wyatt White (Jr.) and Logan Britton (Fr.) will shore up the defensive line. Britton will likely see time on the offensive line as well. The freshman looked good at camp and was a force at nose guard. Joining Harris at linebacker is Dale Coffman. Armstrong will play in the secondary and Kamren Coffman will start at end. “We will play disciplined up front and free up linebackers and fly to the ball,” said Sullivan. Look for the Bulldogs to run the standard 3-2 scheme with guys flying around the field.
