VYPEWhen and how did you first get into playing your sport?

Kaybra: The first sport I played was basketball. I started when I was in kindergarten and have played it every year since then. My mom and dad were the coaches, that’s how I started. Then in seventh grade, I started track. And I just started cheering and volleyball last year as a freshman.

VYPEWhat is your favorite part about being on a team?

Kaybra: Learning to play with other people as a team and sharing the ups and downs with other people.

VYPEWhat teammate has left the biggest impression on you?

Kaybra: I would say Jenna, she was always so supportive and helped me with anything I needed if I didn’t know what to do. She would also always hype everyone up. She is an excellent leader.

VYPEWhy are you passionate about your sport?

KaybraI am passionate about my sports because I like the competitiveness of it. Improving my weaknesses is also a big part.

VYPEWho is your favorite teacher from any grade?

Kaybra: I have had a lot of teachers, but one of my favorites would probably be coach Moore because he is always pushing me to be my best in school and outside of school.

VYPEWhat is the best advice that anyone has given you?

Kaybra: To never give up on anything, no matter what. And if you really want something that bad in life, you have to try and put effort into it because real success comes from mistakes and hard work. It can’t be given to you.

VYPEYou can pick any place for a summer vacation, where do you go, and who do you take with you?

KaybraHonestly, I would either pick Orange Beach, Alabama or a theme park with a bunch of roller coasters. And I would bring my family.

VYPEWhat is your favorite part about representing your high school as an athlete?

Kaybra: My favorite part is showing everyone that you can really do something if you put your mind to it. I strive to be the best athlete I can so people in my school will look up to me. I like representing my school because it will get known and help out our program to make it better.

VYPEHere is your chance to give a shoutout or say thank you to anyone you wish.

Kaybra: I want to say thank you to my family and friends for always supporting me and pushing me to be my best I want to say thank you to Dale Anderson for helping me get started and teaching me the techniques for track, I also want to say thank you to coach Moore for pushing me to be the best I can And thank you to all my other coaches for helping me become the person and athlete I am today.
