Stillwater’s Heather Sinclair: Mom of the Month – Presented by Stillwater Family Care

There are many decisions that parents have to make for their children. One of the more important ones is what school their children will attend. For some, this choice can be more difficult than for others. Heather Sinclair says that the Stillwater school district was a great choice for her family.

“The thing I love most about the school and community is the family-oriented atmosphere that it presents,” she said. “This type of atmosphere is seen in the support the teams receive from parents, fans, and the school. Another aspect of the athletic community and schools that I  cherish is the sense of being a part of a family with the teams’ players and their families.”

Heather is married to her husband Derrick. She has five children and two grandchildren that she is very proud of.

“Our oldest, Trenton, graduated from Mulhall-Orlando High School where he participated in school and travel baseball and basketball. Camryn graduated from Stillwater High School and was a competitive dancer and a member of Stillwater High School Pom. She is currently attending OSU and is a part of OSU Pom Squad. Aspen and Peyton are both seniors at Stillwater High School. Aspen plays basketball and Peyton competes in soccer. The youngest, Blakely, is a second-grader who plays softball and basketball. My two grandchildren Kohen and Wrenlee are growing to be active in athletics as well, following the family tradition.”

Heather is the owner and operator of Hello Gorgeous Salon & Barber Shop and Hello Gorgeous Barber School. In her free time, Heather enjoys family time, sports, making memories, and traveling. Her faith and family are her driving force in all she does.

Over the years, Heather has worked hard to make sure that her kids love their sports but also know that they will always have a support system.

“Prioritizing my kids’ athletic activities is one of the most important parts of being a mom,” she said. “I want her children to know that I will unconditionally support them in their efforts to be successful in their respective sports. Showing this support lets them know their worth and importance in my life.”
