VYPE: Who has been your favorite coach throughout your career and how did they impact you as a player?
Hagen Cundiff: My favorite has been coach Hudson. He gave me a chance to start my sophomore year and has never doubted me.
VYPE: Did you have any teammates that you admire or that supported you?
HC: I admired Braxton Lightfoot because of the way he played. He was undersized and wasn’t the most athletic player on the field, but he was always the best player on the field.
VYPE: Who was your favorite teacher and how were they influential in your life?
HC: Mrs. Barta my 8th grade history teacher. She was my favorite because she made class fun and didn’t put up with anyone’s drama.
VYPE: What preparation have you taken this off-season to better equip yourself for the upcoming season?
HC: I lifted during the offseason and upped my maxes at 20 pounds each.
VYPE: What has your sport taught you that you use in your daily life?
HC: Hard work and determination are key in football and in life.
VYPE: What has been your favorite memory in your sport?
HC: My favorite memory was the first round of playoffs last year against Marlow.
VYPE: What do you hope to accomplish this season (individual or team goals)?
HC: The goal is to go undefeated and win a state championship.
VYPE: What matchup are you most looking forward to this season?
HC: Cushing.
VYPE: What are your plans after high school?
HC: I plan to go to college and get a doctorate degree in veterinary medicine.
