Success is something that almost everyone strives for at whatever they are doing. Whether it is a career, family, life, or something else, they want to be the best they can be. Athletes are no different in that aspect. Judah Schwoegler knows what
it takes in order to be successful at his sports.
“For me to get where I am, it has taken a lot of time, discipline, blood, sweat, and
tears,” he said. “Another important thing that has kept me motivated is the support of my family and friends.”
Judah is a junior at Stillwater High School, where he plays nose guard and right guard for the Pioneer football team.
Along with the work he has put in, Schwoegler says that there are a couple of people that have had an impact on his life and helped him become the person that he is today.
“My teammate and Oklahoma State University commit Josh
Ford pushes me to be a better person every day and I strive to be as successful as him in the sport,” he said. “He is the most even one on one opponent for me and he’s made me get better and better throughout this season. Also, my mom homeschooled me from second to fourth grade and she’s the best teacher I could’ve asked for in and out of school.”
During his time playing football, there have been a number of outstanding
moments for Judah. But he has one in particular that is his favorite.
“The highlight moment of my career so far has been winning the state championship
with a perfect undefeated season last year,” Judah said. “I also really enjoy beating any team that talks too much on and off the field and on social media.”
Judah says that whenever he puts on his Stillwater football uniform, he knows he is playing for more than just himself.
“I take great pride in being able to represent my community and school by being on a great team with great coaches that have helped me be the best player I can be.”
