VYPE: What sports and positions do you play?

Jayden: I play softball and basketball for Hominy. On the softball field, I play shortstop and can also be a utility player. I play the post on the basketball court.

VYPE: What has it taken to be successful in your sports?

Jayden: It takes a lot of determination and commitment.

VYPE: What motivates you to keep working hard and improving?

Jayden: Learning new things and having certain goals I want to reach.

VYPE: Who are some of your biggest influences or role models? Why?

Jayden: Model Winnie Harlow because she is not afraid to put herself out there for the world to see even if they make fun of her for her skin condition

VYPE: What has been the highlight moment of your career?

Jayden: Freshman year when my softball team won district for the first time in eight years, and we’ve been district champs for three years in a row now.

VYPE: Who is your favorite person you follow on social media? Why?

Jayden: Zendaya because I have always been a fan of her acting and music.

VYPE: Which teammate do you enjoy working against the most in practice? Why?

Jayden: Campbell Rice, also a junior, because I feel like we make each other better.

VYPE: What teacher has had the biggest impact on your life? How?

Jayden: Mrs. Higgins because she was always so positive and nice and made me actually like going to school every day.

VYPE: What does it mean to you to represent your school and community when you play?

Jayden: It means a lot because I could possibly make more people want to come to watch Hominy sports play.
