Depew baseball player Tyler Burdick recently told VYPE that “my favorite part of being on this team is the memories I will make and not even realize they are happening”. He shared one memory in particular saying “my favorite memory is the speech my coach gave after we won our conference”.
At the moment, Burdick is working to “be a better teammate and be a better player”. Explaining that he feels strongly that baseball “has taught me to never take anything for granted and to always work hard”. Burdick has also learned a lot from his teammates who he says “inspire him” as well as the sport itself. Telling VYPE that fellow baseball player Cale McKenzie has left a big impression on him and always managed to help him keep his head up.
Burdick, who is also a member of FFA, lives by the motto “Be where your feet are” which allows him to appreciate those who support him.
“I would like to shout out all my coaches and teachers for everything they have done for me and I will forever be grateful for them. I am also grateful for my mom for always being there and for making me the man I am today” said Burdick.
