Q&A with Perkins-Tryon’s Daniel Littlefield – Presented By Hideaway Pizza

VYPE: How long have you played your sport, and what first got you interested in the sport?

Daniel: I started playing golf when I started to walk and could pick up a club. We lived on a golf course so my dad started taking me out and I fell in love with the game.

VYPE: In your opinion, what is the best part about playing sports in high school?

Daniel: I like that there is just so much competition in high school sports and everyone just wants to win and that pushes people to want to get better.

VYPE: What is your favorite memory competing?

Daniel: My favorite memory is watching my good friend Gunnar win in a playoff to win regionals as an individual.

VYPE: Do you have a favorite opponent to compete against?

Daniel: My dad always says that the course is the hardest to be, you gotta beat old man par.

VYPE: What motivates you to be your best?

Daniel: Just to try to be the best that I can be.

VYPE: What do your teammates mean to you?

Daniel: My teammates are amazing. They push me to do my best and they always have a good joke when we need it.

VYPE: Are you involved in any other sports, clubs, activities, etc.?

Daniel: I am only involved with golf.

VYPE: Is there anyone you look up to as a role model, and why?

Daniel: My dad is my role model, always wanting me to get better at the game.

VYPE: What are your plans after high school?

Daniel: I am going to Central Tech to be in their lineman program
