Stillwater’s Aubrie McEndoo – FFA Spotlight – Presented By Oklahoma AgCredit

Aubrie McEndoo is a varsity cheerleader at Stillwater High School, and she is a member of the FFA chapter at school. McEndoo started her FFA journey in middle school and enjoys the opportunity to show her animals.

“I first got involved in FFA when I was an eighth grader, but I’ve grown up in Ag,” said McEndoo. “My mom encouraged me to get into Ag, but it was also the help of my two older siblings who were heavily involved in FFA.”

For McEndoo pinpointing just one thing about FFA that she enjoys is impossible and being part of it with a sibling makes it a more enjoyable experience.

“What I most enjoy about being in FFA is the leadership opportunities I get to share with my sister and friends,” said McEndoo. “Being in the FFA chapter I’m the reporter for the officer team and have a steer for the Oklahoma Youth Expo. Also, this year I will compete with a speech and will also have a CDE project.”

Showing her animals is something McEndoo truly enjoys. She raises steers and loves being in the ring. She is also involved in the Beta Club, SMAC, Student Council, and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

“The person who has had the biggest impact on my life would be Jesus. He has saved me and set me free, because I’ve been saved and set free, I can love and serve others better because of him,” said McEndoo. “My advice to a student who is unsure about joining FFA would be just do it. You meet so many amazing people, not only that but you get so many different opportunities to be a better leader and overall a better person.”

As a member of the cheer squad, McEndoo said her teammates push each other to excel and be the best they can be.

“What I love most about being on the cheer team is being able to leave an impact on others through what I do,” said McEndoo. “My teammates push me out of my comfort zone so I can better cheer on my team.”
